Gharibabadi meets Indian Foreign Ministry’s secretary for West Aaffairs in New Delhi

Tehran: Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi has met with Sibi George, Secretary (West) of India’s Ministry of External Affairs.
During the meeting in New Delhi on Wednesday, the two sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest as well as regional and international developments.
The talks took place ahead of the upcoming visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to New Delhi.
Araghchi is scheduled to participate in the meeting of BRICS foreign ministers, which will be held on Thursday and Friday under India’s presidency. The meeting will focus on regional stability, multilateral cooperation, and economic resilience.
On the sidelines of the gathering, the Iranian foreign minister is also expected to hold talks with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and other participating ministers and officials.
