Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav on Friday blamed the BJP and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls for the likely defeat of the Mahagathbandhan, which includes the Rashtriya Janata Dal, Congress, Left parties, and Vikas Sheel Insan Party, in the Bihar assembly.
In his first tweet on X after the Bihar assembly trends, Akhilesh Yadav commented, “The game played by SIR in Bihar will no longer be possible in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, or elsewhere because this electoral conspiracy has been exposed. We will not let them play this game any further. Like CCTV, our ‘PPTV,’ meaning ‘PDA Prahari,’ will remain vigilant and thwart the BJP’s plans.” PDA stands for Pichhda (backward classes), Dalit, and Alpsankhyak (minorities).
“The BJP is not a party but a deceit,” he further said.
The Samajwadi Party had not contested the Bihar polls, but Akhilesh Yadav had intensively campaigned for the INDIA bloc candidates, particularly for the RJD.
