Ambassador of South Korea in Tehran says that Iran is the most powerful country in the Middle East region, and it is always important for Seoul to strengthen relations with Iran.
Speaking at a ceremony for inauguration of Korea Chamber (Korea Corner) at the University of Isfahan on Sunday, Ryu Jeong-Hyun said that the relations between the two countries of South Korea and Iran are age-old and intimate.
'We can pass throguh the current difficult conditions and reinforce our relations,' the South Korean envoy added.
Referring to the fact that South Korea has exported car and home appliances to Iran in recent years, he said, 'Today, the ground for convergence in the small and medium enterprises sector and the diversification of the industrial and knowledge between two countries has been paved.”
South Korea's ambassador to Tehran also pointed to Isfahan as the technology center in Iran, saying, “There is a lot of cooperation with the small and medium enterprises of this city in the field of superior and industrial technologies.”
He added that South Korea succeeded in developing economic and technological development after a period of war and destruction and today it is ready to share with other countries, including Iran, in this development.
