Bhopal, Sept 25: Lambasting the previous United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government for discriminating against Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled state regimes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today sought another opportunity to serve public for taking the next leap in terms of progress.
Mr Modi made the statement while addressing the Karyakarta Mahakumh organised by the party’s Madhya Pradesh unit at the Jamboree Ground here. BJP President Amit Shah, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, state BJP chief Rakesh Singh and senior party leaders were present.
“Madhya Pradesh bore the brunt of animosity against BJP-ruled states by the then UPA regime. I too encountered similar problems. Those responsible for such conspiracy against states should be taught a lesson,” he said.
The Prime Minister said that the Centre and the Madhya Pradesh dispensation has provided momentum to progress, and sought another term to carry it forward.
