Tehran and Dushanbe have signed and are implementing more than 160 agreements in various fields, Tajikistan ambassador said, adding that the figure shows the high level of bilateral relations.
'The number of MoUs is an indication of the high-level relations between the two neighboring countries,' Nematollah Emamzadeh, Tajikistan ambassador to Tehran told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
'We are prepared to sign more MoUs in spheres that are of priority in bilateral relations,' the diplomat said on Friday evening.
The documents signed so far also include all fields, particularly the economic and cultural ties, according to the ambassador.
Ambassador Emamzade, on the sidelines of a meeting with businesspeople in Hamedan Province, central west of Iran, expressed hope that the cooperation between the two countries would be enhanced.
He also said the meeting dubbed as Hamedan 2018 was a stride towards advancing the goal of trade promotion of the province.
