Taking a step a further in his tirade against Prime Minister Narendra Modi over 'Congress leaders meeting with Pakistani officials', in Delhi, Congress-designate President Rahul Gandhi on Monday said Mr Modi talks of Japan, Pakistan, China and Afghanistan, but doesn't say a word about Gujarat.
Addressing an election rally here, Mr Gandhi said, 'The election is happening in Gujarat, but Modiji doesn't talk about it. Sometimes, he talks of Afghanistan, sometimes China and also of Japan and Pakistan. I always say Modiji, this election about the future of Gujarat, talk something about it also.”
Raking up BJP President Amit Shah's son's company issue, the Congress leader said, 'Modiji is talking about several countries, but he never uttered a word on Mr Shah's son. He is scared of him. In his entire speech, he spends half of time on Congress and remaining on himself.'
Further, renewing his direct attack on Mr Modi, the Gandhi scion said, 'The Prime Minister's vikas rally got flopped like a film.'
On Tata's Nano car project, he said in the times to come, Mr Modi will invest Rs 33,000 crore in the plant.
